Christopher Eugene Gregory served state-side in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era and used the G.I. Bill to help obtain his education. He earned his B.A.Ed. degree and social science teaching credential in 1973 at Central Washington University. During his matriculation there, he was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. In 1997, he earned his M.Ed. and principal’s credential at Heritage University and, 5 years later, in 2002, earned his superintendent’s credential at Washington State University.
Chris served as keynote speaker for several graduation ceremonies and coached basketball for 26 years. He retired after 34 years as a history and geography teacher and administrator in small schools in eastern Washington. Chris enjoys reading, writing, pheasant hunting, bingo, gardening, fly tying, and fishing. He lives with Kathy Marie, his wife of 46 years, at the foot of Tekoa Mountain, northern Whitman County, Washington state.
